🗺️ Location & Remote Work

While ClimateWorks Foundation is headquartered in San Francisco, this role is classified as US Flexible—meaning candidates located anywhere in the United States are welcome to apply. Compensation is geographically adjusted based on cost-of-living data.

💵 Salary Range

ClimateWorks offers competitive pay packages based on candidate location:

  • Bay Area / NYC: $80,000 – $85,000 per year
  • Other US Locations: $75,000 – $80,000 per year

Salary decisions are based on experience, qualifications, and the foundation’s internal equity standards.

Time Off

  • 20 days paid time off (PTO) in the first year

Retirement

  • After 6 months of employment:
    • Automatic contribution of 9% of gross earnings into a 401(k) account by the foundation
    • Matching of 100% of employee contributions up to 6%
